Explore more than 220 km of walking and hiking paths spread across the island of Lošinj

The island of Lošinj has over 220 km of maintained hiking paths and trails. For morning awakening it is enough to absorb the sun's first rays and opt for a walk. If you opt for some other physical activity, such as running or cycling, you will enjoy scents of vegetation, beautiful nature and small bays.

Hiking trail 'Osor - Osoršćica' a 5 km long hiking trail extends along the northern part of the island of Lošinj. The highest peak is Televrin with 588 m. Osoršćica is the first hill on the Adriatic islands which has attracted tourists. One of the first who climbed this hill was Austro-Hungarian Crown Prince Rudolf of Habsburg in 1887.

There are two routes that come to the top – one from Osor and another from Nerezine. From the top of Osoršćica there is a magnificent view of the entire Lošinj archipelago, Istrian coast, mountain of Velebit, and of the islands of Cres, Rab and Pag. If you choose this route you must visit St. Nicholas church and St. Gaudentius cave. At the end of the road you can relax in mountain cottage. Osoršćica hill is a true experience for all who want to enjoy hiking in marine environment.
