Following on last year's success which marked the event 'Fragrances and tastes of Lošinj', the Tourism Office in cooperation with the Fragrant Island Garden is continuing with development of this project. The event 'Fragrances and Tastes of Lošinj' has spread to the whole town, camps, hotels, tourist agencies, restaurants.....The fragrance network has expanded in all forms, from floral displays, potpourri, liqueurs, juices, cakes, fragrant decorations to gastro-menus where, in various ways, autochthonous island plants are used.
FRAGRANCE OF MONTHS
This year the whole month will be dedicated to the island's medicinal plants and pot herbs, so January and February will be characterised by lemons and oranges, March by rosemary, eucalyptus and laurel, April is reserved for asparagus and Lošinj onion, May will be characterised by sage, fennel and nettle, June by Spanish broom, lavender and immortelle, July bougainvillea and mint and August oleander and medlar. In September, the fragrance program continues with days of figs and jujube. October will be characterised by myrtle, strawberry-tree and rose-hip, November by olives and December by pine and agave.

*Fragrances of January and February - lemon, orange and tangerine
*Fragrances of March - rosemary, bay laurel and eucalyptus
*Fragrances of April - asparagus, Lošinj onion (wild leek) and borage
*Fragrances of May - sage, fennel and nettle
*Fragrances of June – broom, lavender, immortelle and ribwort plantain
*Fragrances of July - bougainvillea, mint and bladder campion
*Fragrances of August - fig, oleander and medlar
*Fragrances of September - jujube, grapes, indian fig opuntia and rock samphire
*Fragrances of October - myrtle, strawberry tree, pomegranate and dandelin
*Fragrances of November - olive, dog rose and quince
*Fragrances of December - pine, agave and prickly juniper
