Lošinj makes its debut as host for the ATP Challenger

The world of tennis will descend on the Island of Vitality as Lošinj welcomes players and fans to the ATP Challenger Tour this October.

Organized in collaboration with Ljubičić Tennis Academy and Jadranka turizam d.o.o., the highly anticipated event will take place from Oct 18-24 in Veli Lošinj at Hotel Punta, a sprawling seaside resort set amidst awe-inspiring natural surrounds that offers a plethora of wellness and fitness services as well as extensive sport facilities including 12 professionally designed tennis courts.

Qualifying draws will be held during the weekend preceding the first round of matches scheduled to start on Monday, Oct 18 with an opening ceremony in the evening. Semi-finals and finals will be played on Oct 23 and 24.

Italian tennis pro Cecchinato Marco (career-high rankings world No. 16), Gabashvili Teymuraz from Russia (career-high rankings world No. 43), as well as Croatian players Ajduković Duje and Serdarušić Nino will be among those taking part in the tournament.
