Kvarner EXPO & Sweet Lošinj Festival
From 19 to 21 June, Mali Lošinj's sunny waterfront promenade will come alive with two unique events celebrating local craftsmanship and gastronomy: Kvarner EXPO, the Fair of Souvenirs and Authentic Local Products, and the Sweet Lošinj Festival of Desserts and Ice Cream.
Held on the main square, Kvarner EXPO will bring together around 60 exhibitors from across Croatia, showcasing authentic handmade souvenirs, traditional crafts, and local products that reflect the rich heritage of the region. The festivities begin on Friday, 19 June, with a ceremonial opening featuring the Lošinj Majorettes, the Josip Kašman Wind Orchestra, the Manfrina Folklore Ensemble, and the traditional breaking of the famous Lošinj krokant.
As part of the Sweet Lošinj Festival, visitors can enjoy a variety of sweet experiences, including workshops, family activities, entertainment programmes, and the popular Sweet Lošinj Route. Participating restaurants, cafés, pastry shops, and ice cream makers across the island will present specially created desserts and sweet delicacies inspired by local ingredients and traditions.
